1、 Concept and classification of asphalt mixing plant: also known as asphalt concrete mixing plant or asphalt concrete mixing plant. Refers to a complete set of equipment used for mass production of asphalt concrete. According to the mixing method, it can be divided into forced intermittent production and continuous production; According to the transportation method, it can be divided into fixed, semi fixed, and mobile types.

3. According to the process flow (mixing method), it can be divided into continuous drum type and intermittent forced type.

(1) Continuous drum type, which adopts a continuous and uninterrupted mixing method for production. The heating and drying of aggregates and the mixing of mixtures are carried out continuously in the same drum;

(2) Forced intermittent type, that is, the heating and drying of aggregates and the mixing of mixtures are carried out in a forced periodic manner.
