Rotary kiln burner: using titanium slag electric furnace gas as fuel

1. Overview of titanium slag electric furnace gas fuel: titanium slag smelting uses titanium concentrate as raw material to produce titanium slag through high-temperature reduction, realizing the enrichment of titanium dioxide grade from 47% to 74%, providing titanium slag raw materials for downstream titanium dioxide and sponge titanium users, and the full recovery of by-product titanium slag electric furnace gas can be used as an important fuel to make full use of.

Titanium slag electric furnace gas also belongs to non-standard fuels, corresponding to Volkswagen fuel belonging to the "small gas category". Generally, the calorific value of coke oven gas is 16747.2-18 003.24kJ/m3, blast furnace gas is 3349.44-4186.8 kJ/m3, converter gas is 6280.2-8373.6 kJ/m3, and titanium slag electric furnace gas is about 16720 kJ/m3, belonging to high calorific value gas. In order to meet the requirements of actual smelting processes, some enterprises adopt the method of mixing two or more types of gas to meet the heat consumption of production gas.

2. The titanium slag electric furnace gas burner, also known as the electric furnace gas burner, is an important device that uses a large amount of heat to calcine and heat materials after the electric furnace gas fuel is sprayed into the heating furnace or rotary kiln furnace through the burner and fully burned. The material design of the combustion tube for the electric furnace gas burner is stainless steel 310s or silicon carbide tube, which can withstand 1100-1300 ℃ and has a service life of over 5 years. The burner is designed with a high-precision UV probe to monitor the flame combustion status in real-time. The standard length of the burner tube is 300mm and can be customized.

3. The control cabinet is designed with automatic control functions, including furnace pre blowing, automatic ignition, flameout alarm and emergency shutdown functions, pressure control, leakage alarm and shutdown functions. The control cabinet can be connected with the central control room technology to achieve remote DCS control functions.
