（1） Introduction to the calcination method of clinker:
According to different raw materials and technical conditions, clinker can be calcined in three ways:
One is the dry method, which can be calcined in vertical kilns, rotary kilns, or other types of kilns;
The second is the semi dry method, which is calcined in a vertical wave kiln (a rotary kiln with a grate preheater);
The third is wet method, which can only be calcined in a rotary kiln, and the water content of the slurry entering the kiln is between 32% -40%.
（2） Rotary kiln:
The rotary kiln (rotary kiln) has a horizontal kiln body with an inclination angle of 3% -5% to the horizontal. The kiln body rotates at a speed of 0.5-2 revolutions per minute, and the furnace material moves forward with the kiln body rotation, automatically flipping and stirring to ensure uniform heating. The kiln body is cylindrical, with an outer diameter of about 2-5m and a length of about 25-200mm. The inner lining made of refractory material is 150-200mm thick and can be welded or riveted with steel plates.
The feeding end (cold end) is located at the upper end of the kiln and installed in the dust collection room. The flue gas passes through the dust collection room and is discharged from the chimney. The discharge end is loaded into the kiln head that can be pushed, and there is a sealing device between the kiln head and the kiln body. There is also a burner at the kiln head, and the furnace material outlet leads to a cooling machine, which is cooled by air before being discharged.
（3） Cement rotary kiln burners generally use multi-channel coal powder burners, which use coal powder as fuel to be injected into the kiln for combustion, releasing the heat required for clinker calcination.
