The rotary kiln wireless temperature monitoring system is a monitoring control engineering of our company for large-scale rotary equipment such as rotary kiln and dryer. This system can be applied to large-scale rotary equipment such as rotary kilns, to automatically detect the temperature inside its chamber, and obtain a measurement system for on-site temperature through wireless transmission. Through real-time monitoring of temperature, it can timely reflect the situation on site and regulate the site.

Temperature distribution in kiln:

The temperature inside the rotary kiln is roughly divided into four intervals:

1. Decomposition strip:

97-60m away from the kiln head is the decomposition zone. The temperature rise of the materials in this section is relatively slow, and the temperature rise of the materials is relatively slow. The heat absorbed by the materials from the flue gas and kiln inner wall is mainly used to provide the energy required for the decomposition of calcium carbonate, so the temperature rise of the materials is relatively slow.

2. Transition zone

The transition zone is about 60-26m away from the kiln head. The calcium carbonate is basically decomposed completely, and a series of exothermic reaction occur to the materials, and the released heat is absorbed by the materials. At the same time, the temperature of the flue gas and kiln inner wall continues to rise, resulting in a sharp increase in radiation heat transfer and a significant increase in material heat absorption.

3. Calcined zone

The sintering zone is about 26-8m away from the kiln head, and the materials reach the high temperature zone. The average temperature of this zone is about 1300 ℃, which is the temperature of C3S, and C3S is an important component of clinker. At the same time, most of the coal powder burns in this area, releasing a large amount of heat, ensuring the high-temperature environment required for the reaction. The temperature and length of the firing zone directly affect the yield and quality of the clinker.

4. Cooling strip

8-0m away from the kiln head is the cooling zone, where the temperature of the clinker is higher than the temperature of the flue gas. Heat is transferred from the clinker to the flue gas, causing the flue gas temperature to increase and the clinker temperature to decrease, thereby cooling the main clinker.

The main measurement and control parameters and their ranges of this system:

① Sintering zone temperature: Generally, the sintering reaction can only proceed smoothly when the sintering zone temperature reaches 1300 ℃ -1450 ℃.

② Flue gas temperature at kiln tail: generally controlled at 950 ℃ - 1100 ℃, which can be measured by thermocouple or high-temperature radiometer.

③ Gas temperature at the outlet of the decomposition furnace: generally controlled at 850 ℃ -900 ℃

④ Low grade cyclone outlet gas temperature: 820 ℃ -860 ℃

⑤ Gas temperature at the outlet of the top grade cyclone: 320 ℃ -360 ℃

The system has the following functions:

l. Temperature collection function: Rotary kiln body detection is segmented according to position, and data collection nodes are set to obtain temperature values at various points of the kiln body.

2. Thermocouple temperature error compensation function: compensates for detection errors caused by physical location differences during installation of each thermocouple. Temperature compensation for each point in stages.

3. Upper computer temperature display and human-machine exchange interface: Through wireless temperature collection, the signals are collected to the central control room monitoring computer, and all temperatures are displayed on the upper computer screen. Convenient for on-site personnel to monitor and display.

4. Temperature high and low limit setting and alarm function: on-site personnel can directly set the temperature high and low limit on the upper computer screen. By setting a password, personnel can be designated to modify it. When the measured temperature reaches the high and low limit, an alarm screen will appear on the monitoring screen, and an audible and visual alarm will be given on site to enable on-site personnel to timely understand the temperature situation and control product quality.

5. Historical data archiving and query function: This system automatically generates data in the computer, and staff can query the required data on the monitoring screen at any time, and can print reports through a printer for easy query.

2、 System composition: This system mainly consists of PLC (programmable controller), wireless transmission module, and temperature sensor.
