1、 Overview of blast furnace gas: Blast furnace gas is a byproduct produced during the ironmaking process, mainly composed of CO, CO2, N2, H2, CH4, etc. The combustible component CO accounts for about 25%, while the content of H2 and CH4 is very low. The content of CO2 and N2 accounts for 15% and 55% respectively, with a calorific value of only 3500KJ/m ³ About 750-800 kcal/cubic meter.
2、 Characteristics of blast furnace gas:
(1) Blast furnace gas has a high non combustible content and a low combustible content (about 30%), low heating value, and is not easy to ignite.
(2) Blast furnace gas is a colorless, odorless, and odorless gas with high CO content, resulting in high toxicity;
(3) Slow combustion speed and longer flame;
(4) The blast furnace gas contains a large amount of dust and must be filtered;
(5) The safety specification is set at 1 meter; The CO content in the air should not exceed 30mg;
(6) The ignition temperature is greater than 700 ℃.
(7) Blast furnace gas contains H2 (1.5-3.0%), CH4 (0.2-0.5%), CO (25-30%), CO2 (9-12%), N2 (55-60%), and O2 (0.2-0.4%); The density is 1.29-1.30 Kg/Nm3.
(8) Rich oxygen pure oxygen combustion technology enables more complete combustion of blast furnace gas and a clear solar term.
3、 Blast furnace gas and converter gas are both low calorific value gases, mainly composed of carbon monoxide: CO, with a reference calorific value of; 700-850 kcal/cubic meter (calorific value of blast furnace gas), 1400 kcal/cubic meter (calorific value of converter gas).
Applicable fields of high conversion gas: industrial furnaces, dryers, rotary kilns, hot air furnaces, fluidized bed furnaces, lime shaft kilns, ladle ovens, scrap preheating systems and other engineering projects.
4、 Characteristics of gas baking equipment:
Long flame, uniform baking temperature at the bottom of the direct spray bag, and good effect.
The cover is lined with refractory cotton or castable material, with a thickness of 200-300mm. The burner is embedded in the cover lining, and the outer edge of the cover is attached to the castable to reduce heat loss.
The structure design of the baking machine is in the form of vertical lifting or flipping, which is convenient for operation and maintenance.
Suitable for baking molten steel ladle, molten iron ladle, intermediate ladle, alloy ladle, etc., it can achieve fully automatic control function and interface with central control room technology to achieve remote DCS control.
