1、 The principle of limestone gypsum desulfurization method:
Desulfurization process:
CaCO3+SO2+1/2H2O→CaSO3·1/2H2O+CO2
Ca(OH)2+SO2→CaSO3·1/2H2O+1/2H2O
CaSO3·1/2H2O+SO2+1/2H2O→Ca(HSO3)2
Catalytic process:
2CaSO3·1/2H2O+O2+3H2O→2CaSO4·2H2O
Ca(HSO3)2+O2+2H2O→CaSO4·2H2O+H2SO4
The limestone slurry preparation system mainly consists of a limestone powder storage bin, a limestone powder metering and conveying device, a slurry tank with stirring, a slurry pump, etc., as shown in the figure. Transport the limestone powder from the tank truck to the silo for storage, and then feed the limestone powder into the slurry preparation tank through a feeder, metering device, and powder conveyor. Prepare a limestone slurry with a mass fraction of 15% to 20% in the tank together with circulating water from the process. Pump the slurry into the absorption tower through a circulating pipeline with a flow measurement device.
Gypsum is a byproduct of wet flue gas desulfurization using limestone gypsum method, and the particle size of desulfurization gypsum crystals is 1-250 μ m. Mainly concentrated in 30-60 μ m. The desulfurization gypsum produced during normal operation of the desulfurization device is nearly white in color, and the purity of the desulfurization gypsum using the limestone gypsum method is generally between 90% and 95%.
