1. Principle and Application of Regenerative Burner: Regenerative Burner is a burner that uses heat storage balls to recover heat from kiln flue gas and preheat air to achieve alternating combustion and uniform heating. Regenerative burners are mainly used in industrial kilns, known for their low NOx emissions and high combustion heat rates. It is another major technological advancement after the self preheating burner. Working principle of regenerative burner:
The regenerative burner operates in pairs through a directional valve. When one burner uses the hot air in the heat storage box for combustion, the other burner functions as a smoke exhaust port, using a smoke exhaust fan to extract the hot air from the furnace and store heat through the burner into the heat storage box. When the heat is fully stored, the butterfly valve acts to switch the functions of the two burners. Whenever one burner is burning, the other is helping the heat storage tank to store heat. After the flue gas passes through the heat storage box, a large amount of sensible heat is retained in the heat storage body, and the temperature of the exhaust gas usually drops to 70-120 ℃ for discharge, resulting in significant energy-saving results.
